Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.

Urology Spl issue
Dear Authors,
This special issue is collecting manuscripts related to urology combining all accepted ones into spl issue with highly scientific content- hopefully will be a treat to all readers. Authors are welcome to submit for this issue.

Resident's Corner
The main objectives of this section are to encourage residents to prepare peer-reviewed manuscripts, allow residents to critically evaluate manuscripts by their peers, and encourage residents to read and review manuscripts in various journals. At the time of submission to The Residents' Corner, the first author must be a resident in training. The submission must be accompanied by a letter verifying that the resident is in good standing. We encourage the submission of short articles limited to 1000 words and no more than 3 figures. A narrative abstract of no more than 100 words should be included. We will consider any appropriate short article, but envision the submission of interesting case reports, small case series, historical reviews, summaries of recent developments in surgery, and laboratory studies.
General Practitioners Section
General Practitioners (GPs) Section : The main objectives of this section are to encourage General Practitioners (GPs) to prepare peer-reviewed manuscripts, allow GPs to critically evaluate manuscripts by their peers, and encourage them to read and review manuscripts in various journals. At the time of submission to The GPs Section, the first author must be a GP in training. The submission must be accompanied by a letter verifying that the GP is in good standing. We encourage the submission of short articles limited to 1000 words and no more than 3 figures. A narrative abstract of no more than 100 words should be included. We will consider any appropriate short article, but envision the submission of interesting case reports, small case series, historical reviews, summaries of recent developments in surgery, and laboratory studies.
Neurology Special Issue - Jan-Mar 2026
The Neurology Special Issue aims to present clinically relevant, evidence-based, and practice-oriented advances across the spectrum of neurological sciences. This section welcomes high-quality contributions that enhance understanding, diagnosis, and management of neurological disorders in both adult and pediatric populations.
Scope of the Section
Submissions may address, but are not limited to:

Stroke and cerebrovascular disorders

Epilepsy and seizure disorders

Neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, etc.)

Demyelinating and neuroinflammatory disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis, NMOSD)

Neuromuscular diseases

Headache and pain syndromes

Neurocritical care
-
Neuroinfections
-
Neuroimaging and neurodiagnostics

Movement disorders

Cognitive and behavioral neurology

Pediatric neurology

Advances in neuropharmacology and therapeutics

Neurorehabilitation

Interventional and surgical neurology (in collaboration with neurosurgical disciplines)
Interdisciplinary work involving cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, geriatrics, intensive care, and rehabilitation in the context of neurological disorders is also encouraged.
Types of Articles Accepted
The section will consider the following categories:

Original Research Articles
Clinical studies, observational research, trials, translational research, and registry data. -
Review Articles
Narrative or systematic reviews summarizing recent advances, clinical guidelines, or evolving concepts in neurology. -
Case Series and Case Reports
Unusual presentations, rare conditions, novel diagnostic approaches, or unique management experiences with strong learning value. -
Clinical Practice Updates / Expert Opinions
Practical guidance on diagnosis, treatment protocols, or emerging therapies. -
Brief Communications
Short reports of preliminary data, new techniques, or focused clinical observations.
Manuscript Standards
All submissions must:

Be original and unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere

Follow the journal’s uniform manuscript format and reference style (Vancouver style)

Include a structured abstract (where applicable) and 3–6 keywords
-
Adhere to ethical standards, including:
-
Institutional Ethics Committee approval (for research involving human participants)
-
Informed patient consent for case reports and identifiable images
-

Clearly state conflicts of interest and funding sources
Clinical relevance and clarity of message are highly valued. Manuscripts should emphasize how findings influence patient care, diagnostic strategy, or therapeutic decision-making.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Neurology Special Issue will undergo:

Editorial screening for scope and quality, plagiarism checks

Double-blind peer review by experts in neurology and related subspecialties

Final decision based on scientific merit, originality, clarity, and clinical relevance
